ALLAN VÁZQUEZ
I am a passionate filmmaker driven by the creative energy that runs deep within me.
Since 2012, I have been actively working in Mexico City, collaborating with various talents, organizations, and agencies, including Creative Mornings, Startup Mexico, Impact Hub, and the esteemed Cristobal Jodorowsky.
In 2016, I embarked on an immersive cultural journey throughout Europe, living in countries like Iceland, England, Scotland, Belgium, Romania, and France. This experience allowed me to collaborate with fellow creators and participate in significant events such as the Stockfish Film Festival in Reykjavík and the GROW project in Timisoara. During this time, I had the privilege to work with the renowned French filmmaker and zoologist, Jean Philippe Varin, on a documentary in France.
In 2018, I immersed myself in the vibrant atmosphere of Cairo, Egypt, for six enriching months. There, I collaborated with Hatem Hussein of MPixels on a project for Saudi Arabia, specifically focusing on dubbing.
In 2021, I achieved a significant milestone by producing and directing my first short film, "Orgía." This work explores the profound impact of emptiness and social media addiction. It received screenings at Cinepolis and Cine Tonalá in Mexico City.
